The Other Art Fair - Los Angeles

Live and in person…

Last month I had the privilege of exhibiting at The Other Art Fair - Los Angeles Edition. I can’t tell you how much fun it was. The show was the first large scale in person event I’ve done since the pandemic started. The energy of being back in LA coupled with everyone’s excitement to be out in the world and immersing themselves in art was palpable!

I debuted a collection of thirteen new small / medium paintings, alongside framed limited edition prints.

It’s always a joy to share my work with people in person. Getting to explain my process, what inspires my paintings and hear from collectors what they connect with is pretty much my favorite thing to do (besides creating).

There were some definite favorite originals… “Good Foundation”, “Breakthrough” (sold), and “Off Kilter” (a diptych), seemed to get the most attention. Throughout the weekend people shared with me their favorites and some decided to welcome my art into their homes!

I met new collectors, curators, new artist friends and even connected with some online friends in person for the first time!

I was really impressed with the team at The Other Art Fair and the way the event was run. It was incredibly lively, with some artists creating work on site, a great DJ, cocktails sponsored by Bombay Sapphire, and delicious food and coffee from some partnering local food trucks.

I’m really looking forward to applying for their spring edition and I’ll be taking part in Saatchi’s The Other Art Fair - Global Virtual Fair November 8th - 29th.

All available work is now listed in my shop. If you have any questions about a piece please email me at jen@jencrowestudio.com.
