Rough Studio Days

It was a studio kind of weekend. Although I’ve chosen to make a career out of art, that doesn’t mean my work days in the studio are always rosy.

A rough day in the studio is much like a rough day at your 9-5. Although I’m much more likely to head back into the studio for extra hours to try and get the work back to a happy place. 🙃

It’s easy to be hard on myself when I have a rough day in the studio... shouldn’t I have this figured out already?!

Then I remind myself, I will always be growing, always learning and stretching. There will always be these uncomfortable challenging days in the studio and in the end I wouldn’t change that for anything.
