Back in a Studio

When we moved into this house a little over a year ago I was ecstatic! It was the first time in three years that I had a proper studio space again.

Moving to Oregon also made it possible for us to live at the ocean on a long beach where I could walk for hours. I feel so fortunate to have this incredible space to create and inspiration out my door.

The day I put my easel back together was one of the most exciting days since settling in. It meant that I was recommitting to the life that I want.

I now find myself spending my days painting, weaving and running a gallery with my husband. (Which lets be real... all of this carries a lot of admin work and many more hours in front of a computer screen than I’d like to admit.) 😄

If you would have told me my life would look like this 5 years ago or 15 years ago, I would have said I can see it. It’s what I always wanted and that’s pretty frickin’ cool.
